The Digital Connected Care Coalition (DCCC), is a coalition of private sector parties, NGOs, and foundations, established in 2019 to help accelerate digital health to increase access to quality healthcare in low- and middle- income countries. We believe digital transformation will be a key enabler for people around the world to receive quality healthcare. As we are growing, we are looking for a Global Health Project and Communications Manager.
Are you enthusiastic to help advance the coalition’s mission and organization capabilities?
This includes: Supporting the Core Team in implementing the coalition’s strategic agenda, coordinating events, preparing board meetings, managing communications (including social media, website and newsletter management), writing and creating content, managing projects, engaging with coalition members and leading community management.

The Digital Connected Care Coalition (DCCC) is a global coalition of private sector parties, not-for-profit organizations, institutions, and foundations united to accelerate the digital transformation of healthcare as a strategy for achieving universal health coverage in low- and middle-income countries by 2030. DCCC sets out to build an enabling environment and infrastructure for digital health transformation by finding new ways for public and private organizations to partner. We connect stakeholders in the digital health landscape with a focus on telco’s, pharmaceutical, insurance and med-tech companies, who are willing to share knowledge and insights and fast-track on the ground digital health initiatives.
Scope of work
You will be working with a focused international team of diverse experts, dedicated to improving quality, equity, and access to care through digital health in low- and middle-income countries. We are supporting members in scaling digital health projects and integrating innovative solutions to have a positive impact. As DCCC is gaining traction and getting more involved with external partners, we are seeking a Global Health Project and Communications Manager who can support the DCCC Core Team (3 people) in the management of DCCC’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Newsletters, and other engagement channels), website management as well as content writing, creation, event coordination, and office support.
The Global Health Project and Communications Manager will be expected to:
• Know the ins and outs of WordPress, Mailchimp, LinkedIn
• Create and work with a content and events calendar
• Manage posts on LinkedIn and other channels
• Create content for the DCCC newsletter and website
• Create and upload blogs
• Analyze and report on communications of DCCC’s social media channels, newsletter and website (e.g. using Google Analytics and other analytic tools)
• Support the Core Team with organization of events and workshops
• Support DCCC members and the Core Team meetings and external events with notes, reporting and engagement of coalition members
In return we offer you
The Global Health Project and Communications Manager will be contracted through PharmAccess; hence the function and salary are weighted within the PharmAccess salary house.
Salary: EUR: 2,800 per month (based on a full-time employment)
Vacation days: 25 vacation days (based on a full-time employment)
Allowances and fringe benefits: 8% holiday allowance, and the option to join in the collective health insurance and pension scheme of PharmAccess Foundation.
Your profile and experience
We are looking for a Global Health Project and Communications Manager, who has:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated writing skills and an ability to create content
• A passion for Global Health and digital innovations in health care
• Experience managing social media channels and websites, and who is familiar with Teams Environment, and other project and communication management tools
• Experience in organizing events, like panel discussions, co-creation workshops and facilitating meetings
• A track record of taking initiative and getting things done. You are a proven self-starter.

Reporting
The coalition is a non-legal body, hence the Core Team agreed that contracting and facilitation will be organized by PharmAccess Foundation.
Preferably the Global Health Project and Communications Manager will be based in Amsterdam at the PharmAccess Office and formally report to the respective Core Team Member of PharmAccess, who will provide for appropriate delegation to the other Core Team Members including trainees from other Core Team Members.
